6:00 pm: Join us for a Rubber Duck Race, hosted by the Ayr Kiwanis Club, directly before our opening ceremonies. Our duck launch will be located behind The Ayr News building at 40 Piper Street in Downtown Ayr.

Opening Ceremonies

7:00 pm: Celebrate the opening of our Ayr 200 weekend alongside Mayor Sue Foxton, councilors, sponsors, and other invited guests. This event will feature a commemorative tree planting and a ceremonial ribbon-cutting for the newly-renovated Victoria Park pavilion.

Homecoming Dance

7:00 pm - Midnight: Get your dancing shoes on! Doors open at 7:00 pm, performances begin at 7:30 at the Ayr Community Centre (Queen Elizabeth Arena). Touch a Truck

10:00 am - 4:00 pm: The North Dumfries Fire Department, Waterloo Region Police Services, and Waterloo Region Paramedics will be on-site after the parade to show the vehicles they use everyday in protecting residents across Waterloo Region.

10: 30 am: Line up along Northumberland in downtown Ayr to see a variety of floats, bands, and community organizations join our parade route to celebrate our town's bicentennial. Hosted by the Ayr-North Dumfries Lions

Ride-a-Thon

Registration at 11:00 am, Begins at 12:00 pm: Join our local skate park users as they participate in fun games, pro rider demonstration, opportunity for some coaching and of course open riding time.
