About the event
Join us on the Civic Long Weekend in August for four days to celebrate Ayr's 200th Anniversary!
Highlights include:
- A Rubber Duck Race and Commemorative Tree Planting Thursday evening
- Midway Rides throughout the weekend at the NDCC (North Dumfries Community Centre)
- A Community Dance featuring DJ Hayden Ward and the Fat Willies Friday evening at the ACC (Ayr Community Centre)
- A full day of celebrations Saturday with a Parade, performances from the Canadian Calvary and local musicians, a Car Show, Food Trucks, a Skatepark Demonstration, and so much more!
- Saturday evening our community will celebrate in the "open Ayr" with a Movie under the Stars
- Our agricultural roots will be on display all day Sunday with an interfaith Church Service, a Tractor Display, and a visit from Little Tracks Petting Zoo
